Quick answers on HaloPA, prior auth automation, integrations, security, implementation & what to expect from a pilot.

01 · PLATFORM BASICS

What is HaloPA?+

HaloPA is an AI-enabled prior authorization workflow platform for oncology. It helps teams prepare, submit, track & escalate authorizations with defined human review points.

What's the difference between Hidalga, hidalga, and HaloPA?+

Hidalga Technologies is the company. HaloApps is the product family. HaloPA is our prior authorization workflow optimization module. hidalga is the underlying intelligence engine that powers the full system.

Who is HaloPA for?+

Community oncology, specialty clinics & infusion programs managing complex, high-cost prior authorizations.

What EHRs do you support?+

HaloPA is designed for standards-based EHR & practice-management integration, including FHIR-based workflows. Integration scope depends on each clinic’s systems & available interfaces.

02 · SECURITY & COMPLIANCE

How do you handle HIPAA & PHI?+

HaloPA is designed for PHI-sensitive healthcare workflows with access controls, encryption, auditability & defined data boundaries. BAAs are supported where required.

What about SOC 2 and HITRUST?+

Ask us for our current security & certification status during diligence. We distinguish completed certifications from audits or roadmap items.

Where does PHI live?+

Deployment architecture defines where PHI is accessed, stored & transmitted. We provide technical teams with the applicable data-flow & security documentation during review.

Do you train models on our data?+

Customer PHI is not used for cross-customer model training. Data-use terms, retention & model boundaries are documented during contracting.

03 · IMPLEMENTATION & ROI

How long does implementation take?+

Timing depends on integration, payer connectivity, workflow scope & security review. We start narrow & define the implementation plan before launch. We target 4-6 weeks.

What does it cost?+

Pricing depends on modules, provider count, payer workflow complexity, PA volume & implementation scope.

What's the contract length?+

Contract terms depend on deployment scope. Pilot & annual options can be structured around agreed success metrics.

What ROI should we expect?+

It depends on your baseline. We measure PA volume, staff time, turnaround, denials, rework & related financial metrics before estimating impact. We target 6-12x ROI at full deployment.

What if we already have a PA tool?+

HaloPA can be evaluated alongside existing workflows before a broader replacement decision is made.

04 · DAY-TO-DAY USAGE

Does it require staff training?+

Yes, but the workflow is designed to stay familiar. Training focuses on queues, exceptions, review points & the actions relevant to each role.

Can our providers override HaloPA?+

Yes. HaloPA is human-in-the-loop by design, with review & override points for consequential workflow actions.

What about appeals?+

HaloPA can help assemble denial rationale, supporting evidence & draft appeal content for clinician or staff review before submission.

What payers are supported?+

Support varies by payer & connection method, including available APIs, portals & other submission channels. We confirm payer coverage during implementation scoping.

05 · HELP & SUPPORT

What support is included?+

Support is defined by the deployment agreement & can include onboarding, training, workflow support & technical escalation.

Where can I see the platform?+

Book a walkthrough. We’ll focus the demo on your actual roles, payer mix & highest-friction PA workflows.
